This course analyzes all the new technologies that are available or under development and are used in all natural processes that are part of the hydrological cycle, both natural and urban. Sections of this course are:
a) Use of remote sensing methods, as well as new possibilities that exist with the use of Geographical Information Systems (GIS)
b) Sensors and new technologies in the monitoring of water systems (monitoring)
c) New possibilities for the use of numerical models which are computationally expensive at the business level (real-time): Supercomputers (High Performance Computing) and Machine Learning (Machine Learning)
d) Extraction of field data using new techniques (crowd sourcing, Internet of Things)
