The content of the course includes the following: Introduction and definitions. Pollution from urban runoff. Urban runoff management. Natural wastewater treatment systems: stabilization ponds, artificial wetlands, soil systems, simulation models of natural systems. Watershed and transboundary basin management. Management of coastal groundwater systems. Management of lakes and lagoons. General principles and applications of eco-hydrology in river and coastal systems.
