The course material will include: General principles of air pollution control technology, control technology, need for air pollution control, important parameters for the selection of suitable pollution control technology and emission calculation. Absorption, Adsorption, Combustion, Control of Sulfur Oxides (SOx) and Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) Emissions with subsections dealing with the design of SOx and NOx control devices.
